Digitain in depth

Editorial research based on the vendor's public materials, regulator registers and trade press. Researched . Sources are listed at the end of this section.

Digitain is a sportsbook and iGaming platform provider headquartered in Yerevan, Armenia, with its licensed B2B entity Digitain (MT) Limited in Malta. The group was built by founder Vardges Vardanyan out of the Armenian B2C operator TotoGaming; the company dates its history to 1999 and has sold its technology to third parties since 2015. Its core products are an in-house sportsbook (180,000+ monthly live events, 4,000+ markets, managed trading), the Centrivo platform family (Centrivo Universal and Centrivo Dynamics PAM, Centrivo CRM, Centrivo Affiliate), the Paydrom payment gateway, in-house virtual sports, retail and self-service betting terminals, plus casino content from the group studios Galaxsys (fast and crash games) and Imagine Live (live dealer).

Digitain suits operators that want a sportsbook-led turnkey or a sportsbook add-on with regulated-market paperwork already in place: it holds an MGA B2B critical supply licence, UK Gambling Commission licences, Romanian ONJN Class 2, a Belgian Class E licence and Ontario AGCO supplier registration. The commercial model is revenue share plus a setup fee, quoted per project; the company does not publish prices or revenue and is privately held.

Our verdict

Choose Digitain if you need a certified sportsbook or full platform for European regulated markets (Malta, UK, Romania, Belgium) or Ontario, and value a large in-house trading desk and omnichannel retail support. Look elsewhere if you are a small start-up on a tight budget, need a casino-first platform with the deepest aggregation catalogue, or want a vendor that publishes audited financials and prices.

Products and modules

Digitain organises its offer around a proprietary sportsbook and the Centrivo platform, with payments, content and retail modules from group companies. Product names are as used by the vendor in 2025 to 2026.

  • Digitain Sportsbook: in-house engine with 180,000+ live events per month and 4,000+ betting markets, managed trading and risk. Delivered as part of a turnkey, as a sportsbook add-on to an existing platform, or omnichannel with retail.
  • Centrivo iGaming platform: the PAM and back office, marketed in two editions, Centrivo Universal and the modular Centrivo Dynamics. Winmasters (2025) and MagicBetting Online (2026) deployed Centrivo Dynamics.
  • Centrivo CRM and Centrivo Affiliate: player lifecycle and campaign tooling, and an affiliate module (launched July 2024) covering programme creation, tracking, commission models, redirection automation and reporting. The search term "Digitain Partners" refers to this affiliate product line, not a separate company.
  • Paydrom: group payment gateway and cashier with 60+ payment providers and 600+ methods integrated.
  • Virtual Sports: in-house portfolio with 26,000+ daily virtual events.
  • Casino: aggregation of third-party studios plus group content from Galaxsys (the Fast Games studio: slots, crash and fast games, 50+ titles) and Imagine Live (live dealer tables and game shows). There is no Digitain product called "Fast Sports" or "Vegas Casino"; those search terms map to the Fast Games range and the casino aggregation.
  • Retail and SSBT: betting-shop software and self-service betting terminals for omnichannel operators, shown at ICE Barcelona 2026.

Pricing and commercial model

Digitain does not publish a rate card. Deals combine a setup or integration fee with a revenue share on net gaming revenue, with the share depending on whether the operator takes the sportsbook only, the Centrivo platform, or the full turnkey with Paydrom and managed services. Minimum monthly fees are typical in this segment but Digitain has not disclosed its own.

Our catalogue estimate for a full turnkey is a setup cost of roughly EUR 95,000 to 380,000, a revenue share of 16 to 28 percent and monthly fees of EUR 15,000 to 28,000, with launch in 4 to 16 weeks depending on market certification. These are editorial estimates based on comparable tier-one sportsbook vendors, not figures confirmed by Digitain. A sportsbook-only integration on an existing PAM is materially cheaper than the turnkey.

On "Digitain revenue": the company is privately held and does not report revenue. Figures on data-vendor sites are modelled estimates that vary by several hundred percent between sources and should not be used in due diligence.

Digitain also cites an ID Quantique quantum RNG in its platform certification. Other markets mentioned in 2026 commentary (Isle of Man, Denmark, Bulgaria) could not be matched to a regulator record and are treated as not publicly confirmed. Digitain does not publish an audited partner count; it describes its footprint as spanning Europe, the CIS, Latin America, Africa and Asia.

Technology and integration

Delivery models. Three patterns are visible in public deals: (1) full turnkey on Centrivo with Digitain sportsbook, casino aggregation and Paydrom; (2) a sportsbook add-on integrated into the operator's existing platform and wallet, as with 888 Romania (2025); and (3) platform migration, where an operator moves its player base onto Centrivo Dynamics while taking the sportsbook, as MagicBetting Online did in Belgium (2026). Retail shops and SSBTs share the same account and wallet for omnichannel operators.

Wallet and API. Centrivo is the PAM with its own wallet for turnkey clients; for add-on deployments the sportsbook integrates with the operator's wallet through Digitain's API, with the front end delivered as a native integration or embedded iframe. API documentation is not public; ask for the integration guide and the list of certified front-end variants per market.

Content and payments. Paydrom integrates 60+ PSPs and 600+ methods; casino content comes from third-party studios plus Galaxsys and Imagine Live, which are also licensed separately, which matters if you want to avoid lock-in on content.

Hosting and scale. Digitain does not publish infrastructure details such as cloud provider, throughput or latency figures comparable to those published by GR8 Tech; it quotes event and market counts instead. Request load-test results for peak-event bet acceptance and settlement during the RFP.

Clients and track record

Publicly named operator deals in 2025 to 2026, all in regulated European markets:

  • 888 Romania (888.ro, operated by NGS): sportsbook supply agreement, October 2025.
  • Winmasters (Greece, Romania, Malta, Cyprus): Centrivo Dynamics platform deal, January 2025.
  • MagicBetting Online (Belgium): sportsbook integration and migration to Centrivo, January 2026; Digitain's first Belgian deployment.

The group's own B2C operator TotoGaming in Armenia runs on the same technology and functions as the reference deployment. Digitain was named Platform Provider of the Year at the SBC Awards 2026 in Lisbon.

Leadership and size: founder Vardges Vardanyan leads the group; Arshak Muradyan is Group Chief Compliance Officer, Edmond Ghulyan is Group Chief Strategy Officer and head of the Centrivo product, and Ani Mkrtchyan is Chief Sales Officer. Headcount is not published in audited form; public estimates range from about 2,000 to over 4,000 group-wide, with engineering and trading concentrated in Yerevan.

How it compares

Versus BetConstruct. The two Armenian vendors are the most direct comparison. BetConstruct has a broader catalogue (own live casino studios, skill games, more jurisdictions) and a longer B2B history; Digitain is more sportsbook-centric and its UK, Belgian and Ontario approvals are recent. Both quote per project; BetConstruct tends to sit at the higher end of setup fees.

Versus GR8 Tech. GR8 Tech (former Parimatch Tech) competes for the same sportsbook-led buyer and publishes more detailed performance figures and a tighter iFrame onboarding playbook. Digitain has the stronger public regulatory file: an MGA B2B licence versus an MGA recognition notice, plus UKGC, Belgium and Ontario, none of which GR8 Tech has publicly confirmed.

Versus EveryMatrix or Altenar for sportsbook-only. Altenar has more named European operator deployments; EveryMatrix offers wider casino aggregation if you later consolidate vendors. Digitain's advantage is trading-desk depth and omnichannel retail; its disadvantage is less transparency on infrastructure and pricing. See the BetConstruct and GR8 Tech profiles.

Questions to ask before signing

  1. Which entity contracts (Digitain (MT) Limited or another group company), and under which licence is service supplied in each target market?
  2. Is the sportsbook priced separately from Centrivo, and what is the revenue-share difference between Centrivo Universal and Centrivo Dynamics?
  3. Which markets have completed front-end and platform certification for my licence type, and what is the lead time for an uncertified market?
  4. Can I take Galaxsys or Imagine Live content without the platform, and can I bring my own PSPs instead of Paydrom?

Digitain pricing & costs

Vendor-stated commercial terms, compared with the 62 platforms in this directory.

Digitain lists a one-off setup fee of €95,000 - €380,000, above the directory median of €35,000 across the 19 platforms that publish one. The ongoing platform fee is a revenue share of 16% - 28% of gross gaming revenue (GGR), above the directory median of 13.7%. The lower end of the band normally applies at higher monthly GGR or with a larger setup fee, so ask for the volume tiers in writing. A fixed monthly fee of €15,000 - €28,000 is also listed; check whether it is a minimum guarantee offset against revenue share or an additional charge.

Setup fees in this segment usually cover platform configuration, standard front-end theming, the provider's existing game and payment integrations, and launch support. They usually do not include your gambling licence, payment-provider onboarding fees, bespoke development or marketing. Terms are indicative and almost always negotiable. Digitain FAQ

Answers are generated from the profile data above and updated whenever the profile is re-verified.

How much does Digitain cost?

Digitain pricing in our directory is listed as a setup fee of €95,000 - €380,000, a revenue share of 16.00% - 28.00% of gross gaming revenue and a fixed monthly fee of €15,000 - €28,000. The entry setup cost is above the directory median of €35,000 across 62 platforms. Commercial terms are indicative and negotiable; confirm a written quote with Digitain before budgeting.

Is Digitain a white label or a turnkey platform?

Digitain offers both models: a white label launch under the provider's licence and a turnkey deployment on your own licence. White label is faster and cheaper to start; turnkey gives you ownership of the licence, player data and commercial relationships.

How long does it take to launch a casino with Digitain?

The vendor-stated launch time for Digitain is 4 - 16 weeks. That is in line with the directory median of 4 weeks. Stated timelines assume your licence and payment providers are already in place; those, not the software, usually set the real go-live date.

Does Digitain support cryptocurrency payments?

Digitain lists cryptocurrency support in its profile, meaning the cashier can accept and pay out in crypto. Confirm which coins, custody model and fiat on-ramp are included, and check that your target licence permits crypto play.

Does Digitain include a sportsbook?

Digitain offers a sportsbook alongside casino, so both verticals can run on one wallet and back office. Ask whether trading and risk management are managed by the provider or by your team, and how the odds feed is priced.

Which markets and licences does Digitain support?

Digitain has not listed specific licences or supported markets in its profile. Ask for the licence numbers and verify them in each regulator's public register before contracting.

What are the best alternatives to Digitain?

Based on deployment model, tier, verticals and budget, the closest alternatives to Digitain in our directory are EveryMatrix, SOFTSWISS, Kambi and SoftGamings. Use the compare tool to view them side by side on setup cost, revenue share, launch time and ratings.

How do you rate Digitain and is it reliable?

Our editorial rating for Digitain is 8.0/10 (technology 8.0/10, support 8.0/10, pricing 8.0/10). It reflects published specifications, licence registers and operator feedback, not user reviews or paid placement. See our methodology page for how scores are built and what they do not cover.

Is Digitain a legitimate, licensed sportsbook provider?

Yes. Digitain (MT) Limited holds a Malta Gaming Authority Critical Gaming Supply licence (MGA/B2B/592/2018, issued January 2020), UK Gambling Commission remote licences under account 63601 (gambling software and casino host since September 2024, betting host for real and virtual events since February 2026), a Romanian ONJN Class 2 licence (2019), a Belgian Class E licence (2025) and Ontario AGCO supplier registration (2026). The group is headquartered in Yerevan, Armenia.

What is Centrivo and how does it differ from the Digitain sportsbook?

Centrivo is Digitain's iGaming platform: the player account management system, wallet, back office, bonus engine and reporting, sold in two editions, Centrivo Universal and the more modular Centrivo Dynamics, plus Centrivo CRM and Centrivo Affiliate modules. The sportsbook is a separate product that runs on Centrivo in turnkey deals or plugs into an operator's existing platform and wallet, as 888 Romania did in 2025.

What is Digitain's revenue and who owns the company?

Digitain is privately held and does not publish revenue or audited accounts. Founder Vardges Vardanyan built the group from the Armenian B2C operator TotoGaming, and it now includes the game studios Galaxsys and Imagine Live and the Paydrom payment gateway. Revenue figures shown on data-vendor websites are modelled estimates that differ widely between sources and should not be relied on for due diligence.

Does Digitain offer a "Fast Sports" product or "Vegas Casino"?

No product with either name is listed by Digitain. The fast-play content that appears in searches is the Fast Games range (slots, crash and fast games, 50+ titles) from the group studio Galaxsys, and the casino offering is an aggregation of third-party studios plus Imagine Live live-dealer tables. Virtual sports are a separate in-house product with 26,000+ daily events.

Which operators use Digitain?

Publicly named deals in 2025 to 2026 include 888 Romania (sportsbook, October 2025), Winmasters in Greece, Romania, Malta and Cyprus (Centrivo Dynamics, January 2025) and MagicBetting Online in Belgium (sportsbook and Centrivo migration, January 2026). The group's own Armenian operator TotoGaming runs on the same stack. Most of Digitain's other partners are not named publicly.
