2. What we collect and why
2.1 Data you give us in a form
When you submit an enquiry, request a provider demo, or apply to list a company, we record the following:

All form fields other than those marked required on the form are optional. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, special-category data (health, political opinions, and so on) or payment card details.
2.2 Data collected automatically
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent, referring page) for security and troubleshooting. These are kept separately from the enquiry database.
2.3 Cookies
This site sets a single technical cookie, the PHP session cookie
(PHPSESSID), which keeps your session state — for example the platforms
you have added to the comparison tray — while you browse. It expires when you close
your browser and carries no advertising identifier.
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If analytics or advertising tags are added in future, this policy will be updated before they go live and consent will be requested where the law requires it.
3. Who we share data with
- Providers you asked to be introduced to. If you submit a demo or quotation request naming a provider, we pass your enquiry to that provider so they can respond. They then act as an independent controller of that data under their own privacy policy. We do not sell contact lists, and we do not pass your details to providers you did not ask about.
- Our hosting and email providers, acting as processors under contract, purely to run the site and deliver mail.
- Authorities, where we are legally obliged to disclose.
4. International transfers
Our infrastructure is located in the European Union. Where a provider you asked to be introduced to is outside the EEA, your enquiry will be transferred to them at your request; that transfer is made on the basis of your explicit request under GDPR Article 49(1)(b).
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and listing requests: 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
- Server access logs: up to 12 months.
- Records we must keep for accounting or legal reasons: for the statutory retention period only.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can require us to:
- confirm what data we hold about you and give you a copy (access, Art. 15);
- correct inaccurate data (rectification, Art. 16);
- delete your data (erasure, Art. 17);
- restrict how we use it (Art. 18);
- provide it in a portable format (Art. 20);
- stop processing based on legitimate interest (objection, Art. 21);
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
Email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. Exercising these rights is free; we may ask you to confirm your identity first so that we do not disclose your data to someone else.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country of residence.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the administrative area is access-controlled, and database queries use prepared statements. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data and presents a risk to you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by Articles 33 and 34.
8. Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our processing changes. The revision date at the top of the page always reflects the current version.
